The building is protected by fencing and gates.
The Old Laundry is over 100 years old and was originally built as a school to teach young women cooking and manual skills before they entered the service industry. After the First World War, a tide of economic and social change as well as the depression of the 1920s led to this type of labour quickly falling into demise. The building was brought back to life in 2010 by Kiel Shaw and Stuart Atkinson, who renovated the building, restoring its former beauty. The building is divided into two lofty studio rooms which will house our two stop motion stages, both 1,000 square feet in size.
