Most branded video looks like branded video. It gets scrolled past in 0.8 seconds. At A+C Studios, we make social content – stop-motion, live-action hybrid, and UGC-style edits – that’s designed to stop thumbs, not just fill a content calendar.

We handle every frame: strategy, shoot, edit, variations, file delivery. You get platform-ready assets that are actually ready. The right ratio, the right safe zones, the right hook in the first two seconds.

Who This Is For

We work best with brands and teams who move fast, know what they want to test, and understand that great social video is a system, not a single hero film.

You’re a great fit if you are:

  • An e-commerce or DTC brand that needs a consistent volume of platform-native content
  • A funded startup building your organic and paid social presence
  • An in-house marketing team with briefs but no production capacity
  • A paid social team that needs fresh creative — hooks, variations, CTA swaps — delivered on a predictable cadence
  • A food, drink, or lifestyle brand that wants stop-motion or tactile video that stands out

We’re probably not the right fit if you:

  • Only need a single cinematic hero film (that’s a different brief — we can refer you)
  • Have zero bandwidth for a 30-minute approval round
  • Need ultra-low-budget single cuts with no post-production depth

What Social Media Video Production Actually Includes

“Social media video production” covers more ground than most briefs acknowledge. Here’s what we mean when we use the term — and what separates it from traditional video production.

Traditional video production is built around a single polished output: one edit, one ratio, one use case. Social media video production is built around volume, variation, and platform behaviour. That means:

  • Platform-native framing — designed for 9:16 before anything else, with 1:1 and 16:9 pulled from the same shoot
  • Hook-first structure — the first 1.5–2 seconds do the heavy lifting; the rest of the edit earns its keep
  • Multiple variations — different openings, pacing, captions, and CTAs cut from the same raw material
  • Safe zones by default — text, product, and faces placed to survive every platform’s UI overlay
  • Delivered to spec — H.264, correct bitrates, named files, upload-ready folders. No chasing assets.

At A+C Studios, we layer our stop-motion craft on top of this system. That means tactile, handcrafted visuals — frame-by-frame animation, paper craft, product animation, mixed-media sequences — built inside a social production workflow, not bolted onto it after the fact.

What You Get – Deliverables by Platform

Every project is scoped individually, but these are the standard outputs we build per platform. If you need more cuts, more ratios, or multi-platform delivery in one shoot, we’ll scope that in the call.

Our Social Video Production Process

Seven steps. One repeatable system. Yours to own.

Step 1 – Discovery & Strategy

A structured 20-minute scoping call covers: your platforms, goals, audience, existing content performance, brand assets, and what we’re testing. We leave with a clear creative direction, not a vague mood board.

Step 2 – Pre-Production

We write the creative brief, build the shot plan and asset list, and confirm the shoot format — studio stop-motion, on-location, UGC hybrid, or a combination. Batch shoot day options are available for monthly retainer clients.

Step 3 – Production (Shoot / Capture)

For stop-motion: frame-by-frame in our studio, built for social formats from the first frame. For live-action or hybrid: directed capture with platform ratios locked in-camera. No cropping an afterthought.

Step 4 – Edit Matrix

We build your content from an edit matrix, not a single timeline. That means multiple hooks, pacing variants, caption styles, and CTA endings — cut systematically, not one-by-one. You get more useful assets from the same shoot day.

Step 5 – Review & Approval

One consolidated review link. Feedback in comments. One round of revisions included as standard (additional rounds available). We turn around revisions within 2 working days.

Step 6 – Delivery

Organised folders, platform sub-folders, named files, specs confirmed. Every file is upload-ready — not just exported. SRTs included. Whitelisting-ready versions flagged clearly.

Step 7 – Optimise (Optional)

On retainer engagements, we review performance data monthly. What hooked? What dropped off? We feed learnings directly into the next shoot brief. Content gets sharper over time, not just more of the same.

What This Helps You Achieve

  • More thumb-stops: because the first two seconds are built to hold attention, not just look good
  • Faster content velocity: a single batch day gives you 20–30 platform-ready assets, not one polished film
  • Consistent on-brand output across every platform: same shoot, right ratios, right specs, every time
  • Creative that compounds: performance data from month one feeds into month two’s brief

Common Use Cases

Social video production looks different depending on what you’re trying to achieve. Here’s how we typically approach the most common briefs.

Organic Growth Content

Regular, platform-native content to build audience and brand presence. Stop-motion and tactile video consistently outperforms generic talking-head content for brands in food, drink, beauty, and lifestyle. We build a content system, not a content calendar full of one-offs.

Paid Acquisition Creative

Ad creative is the biggest lever in your paid social account — and it’s the one most brands underinvest in. We produce hook-first, variation-rich ad creative built for testing: multiple openings, CTA endings, and silent-first edits, all from one shoot day. Whitelisting-ready on request.

Product & Brand Launches

A launch needs volume and consistency across platforms simultaneously. We scope a multi-platform production day and deliver the full asset suite — from teaser content through to full-length explainers — all from the same shoot, so your brand looks coherent everywhere it shows up.

Food, Drink & Lifestyle Brands

Stop-motion and tactile video production is a natural fit for brands where texture, craft, and sensory appeal matter. Our studio is set up for food and product animation — slow pours, ingredient reveals, pack shots that actually move. If you’re in food and drink, this is our home territory.

FAQs About Social Media Video Production

  • What is social media video production? More

Social media video production is the end-to-end process of creating video content built specifically for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn — not adapted from longer-form work. It covers strategy, shoot, editing, variations, captions, and file delivery to platform spec. The critical difference from standard video production is that it’s designed for volume and testing: multiple hook variants, aspect ratios, and CTA endings from a single shoot.

  • Are you a social media video agency or a production company? More

We’re a production company, not an agency. We don’t manage your social accounts or run your ad campaigns — we produce the content. That said, we work closely with in-house teams and agencies who need production capacity, and we can advise on what to test based on what we see work across our client base.

  • What makes A+C Studios different from other social video production companies? More

We specialise in stop-motion animation and tactile video production — a format that performs exceptionally well for brands in food, drink, beauty, and lifestyle, where texture and craft create an emotional response that CGI and talking-head content can’t replicate. We also work to a systematic production process: every brief produces multiple variations from one shoot day, so you’re not paying for individual one-off cuts.

  • Do you produce social media ad creative (paid social)? More

Yes. Paid social creative is a core part of what we do. We produce hook-first, variation-rich creative designed for testing: multiple openings, CTA variants, silent-first edits, and whitelisting-ready versions. We typically deliver an ad set as part of the same shoot that produces your organic content, so you get both from one production day.

  • What platforms do you produce social video for? More

We produce content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and paid social placements across Meta, TikTok Ads, and Google/YouTube. All content is delivered in the correct aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) with platform-specific safe zones, caption burns, and file specs confirmed.

  • How long does social media video production take? More

For a Sprint package (single shoot day, up to 12 cuts), turnaround is typically 5 working days from shoot to delivery. Monthly retainer clients receive weekly rolling delivery. Campaign projects are scoped individually — complex stop-motion sequences take longer to produce, and we’ll confirm timelines at the scoping call.

  • How many revision rounds are included? More

One round of consolidated revisions is included as standard across all packages. Additional revision rounds can be added at a day rate. We find that clear briefs and a single structured review link keep most projects to one round — we’ll share a briefing template with you before we scope.

  • What do you need from us to get started? More

At minimum: your platforms, a rough brief (even ‘we need content for Reels for our spring launch’ is enough to start), existing brand assets (logo, brand guide, any product photography), and a sense of budget range. We’ll do the rest in the scoping call — no lengthy brief forms, no proposal theatre.

  • Do you work with in-house marketing teams? More

Yes — in-house teams are one of our core client types. You have the brand knowledge and approval authority; we have the production capacity and platform expertise. We’re used to working within existing approval processes and can provide rough cuts for stakeholder review before final delivery.

  • Who owns the footage and finished videos? More

You do. On delivery of final files and cleared invoice, all usage rights transfer to you. We’ll confirm the specific usage scope (organic, paid, whitelisting, broadcast) at the scoping stage so there are no surprises. Perpetual usage rights are standard on all packages.

  • Do you offer UGC-style social video production? More

Yes. UGC-style content — shot to look unpolished and creator-native rather than branded — is available as part of a hybrid production day. We can combine stop-motion or product animation with UGC-style talking-head or vlog-format content in the same shoot, giving you a range of visual styles from one booking.

  • Can you handle social media video production for multiple platforms in one shoot? More

That’s our preferred way of working. A single well-planned shoot day can yield Reels, TikTok, Shorts, LinkedIn, and paid social assets simultaneously. The key is capturing to the right ratios and building the edit matrix before the shoot — so nothing is an afterthought or a crop.

  • What does stop-motion production look like in a social media context? More

Stop-motion for social is frame-by-frame animation — product movement, ingredient reveals, paper craft, and mixed-media sequences — built inside a 9:16 frame from day one. It’s not a technique we bolt onto a social brief; it’s how our studio is set up. For brands where craft, texture, and visual surprise matter, it consistently outperforms generic video formats.

  • Do you produce video for food and drink brands? More

Yes — food, drink, and FMCG is a core specialism. Stop-motion is a natural fit for category-driven visual storytelling: slow pours, ingredient animations, pack-shot sequences, recipe narratives. If you’re in food and drink, we’d encourage you to look at our portfolio — it’s where our work is strongest.

  • How is social video production priced? More

We price by package — Sprint, Monthly Retainer, and Campaign — with transparent starts-from pricing on this page. Cost variables include: number of platforms, shoot format (stop-motion studio vs location), number of deliverable variations, and usage rights. We don’t do day-rate guessing games: share your budget range in the scoping call and we’ll tell you what’s possible within it.
