Introducing the latest design project from A+C: HyperX 2022. This time, we partnered with HyperX to bring to life a heartwarming story about sibling dynamics through the magic of stop-motion animation. The project, titled “Game with those who matter,” features a lovable cast of characters including Grandpa, Mum, Big Sister, and her mischievous little brother, Little B.

To create these charming characters, A+C brought together the talents of illustrator James Dyer and skilled model makers who meticulously crafted the final models and sets to capture the essence of James’ drawings. The result is a beautifully realized aesthetic that perfectly captures the spirit of the story.

Directed by Dan Richards, “Game with those who matter” is a relatable tale of sibling boundaries and compromise that is sure to warm your heart. And with the power of stop-motion animation, the story truly comes to life in a way that is both visually stunning and emotionally resonant.

Character Development

One of the highlights of the HyperX 2022 project was the introduction of a new character, Little Brother. As a key player in the story, it was essential to create a character that was both lovable and relatable.

To achieve this, A+C worked closely with illustrator James Dyer to develop a clear vision for Little Brother’s design. From there, the A+C model makers carefully crafted his physical appearance to bring him to life in the most authentic way possible.

Throughout the development process, the team paid close attention to Little Brother’s personality and characteristics. They wanted to ensure that his movements and expressions were consistent with his mischievous and playful nature, while still maintaining his endearing qualities.

In the end, the team succeeded in creating a character that truly resonates with audiences. Little Brother is a lovable rogue who adds a new dimension to the story, and his presence on screen is sure to capture the hearts of viewers of all ages.

Behind The Scenes

We love to make a BTS film alongside the main event because it gives the audience a deeper understanding of everything that goes into creating the final animation. It shows the humans, processes and scale of work that create the magic we finally see, and audiences love to learn about the story behind it.
